After 50 years of dealing with contractors through both good and bad experiences, I can most assuredly tell any and everyone that the service I received from Alltech HVAC is the single most satisfying contractor experience I have ever had. Andrew repaired our HVAC system a few weeks ago after our plumbers determined that water in our basement was caused by pipes that were rusted out (hidden in a cabinet) and dripping water continuously. I was so impressed with Andrew. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything very well and was an excellent technician. He showed me exactly what the problems were, e.g., different metals used in the piping and how the fittings should have been brass. Most importantly, he was able to figure out that the leaky pipes led to only one radiator; therefore, the heating would not be affected too much. He capped everything that needed to be capped while removing pieces that were no longer functional. I am happy to say that the basement has been dry ever since he repaired the system. We highly recommend Alltech!

My air conditioner would not turn on. Called yesterday and had a tech out the next day. The tech was here for less than 15 minutes and determined it was the thermostat. Changed the thermostat and I am back in business. Ready for the hot temperatures that are coming. Honest and Reliable! Great Company! Great Employees!! Somebody you can trust.

A technician came out to look at my 5-year old air conditioner that has stopped cooling the house. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He identified a completely different error than the company who had installed it who wanted to charge me $1700 for a “wait and see” approach and new Freon. This company came highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for knowledgeable and effective service. From my experience, this is a company that can be trusted.

I had a wonderful experience with Alltech. Over a small period of time I had two service calls in the house to make repairs on an older furnace. Both techs knew what they were doing and made me feel confident in their work. Alltech is simply the best in our opinion. We live in an old house in Evanston and have had lots of HVAC issues. We initially used another service but they were expensive and didn’t seem to value our business or seek to provide options.

Our contractor suggested we use Alltech and they have been outstanding! They take the time to explain issues and offer all of the possible solutions. They are reasonable priced, always available and on-time and, most importantly, they do a great job.

Love ALLTECH, they are so wonderful to work with, very responsive! They really do a great job! I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Alltech provided excellent service from the initial consultation through installation. John went above and beyond to help us research various options and find the perfect hybrid system that met our desire for an electric heat pump and also backup of a gas-fueled furnace. The installation crew was great, communication with the front office seamless. Highly recommend!

We had Alltech HVAC out to replace a 23 year old furnace and a broken AC unit. The AC unit needed a new compressor and was not worth replacing due to the age so we had Alltech HVAC come out.

They were prompt responses on the phone and through email for scheduling. They gave us a reasonable quote for Amana units with excellent warranties and reviews.

We decided to get the units installed. With the current lock down state they came out with masks and gloves and used all precautions necessary. They removed the old furnace and AC without any damage to the home and installed the new units the same day.

They worked with the city inspector at Rolling Meadows the same day as well. I should have mentioned that they pulled the permits and worked with the city through the whole process.

The AC unit needed to be charged since it was not above 70 degrees. Once temperatures were at that level they came back out, charged the unit and worked with the city for the final inspection.

Excellent job and I would highly recommend them for any heating and cooling work you need.
Honestly, I’m glad I finally found a reliable and responsible company to work with.
